2 Children Dead and 3 Children Health critical after consuming Milk in UP Village :
Lucknow: At least two children died in Uttar Pradesh’s Balrampur district after consuming milk, authorities said on Monday. Three other children are in critical condition.
Police said the incident happened in Tulsipur village on Sunday after the children belonging to the family of Girdhari Lal Gupta consumed milk, bought from a local dairy.
Soon after they drank the milk, they started vomiting and fell unconscious. Two children, a three-year-old girl and a one-year-old boy, were declared brought dead at a local medical facility.
The three other children are being treated at a community health centre. Doctors said their condition continues to be “very critical”.
Police said they have seized the samples of the milk which the children consumed and have sent it for tests. The dead were identified as Mamta and Vishal while those in critical state were identified as Suman, Ruman and Mamta.
