29 people have died in a stampede during Godavari Pushkaralu festival in Rajahmundry. The death toll is likely to rise.We request everyone to be safe and cautious. Pushkar will come and go but life will not.

All hell broke loose when 29 pilgrims were crushed to death and many others were severely injured in the stampede that took place in the early hours of Tuesday when the pilgrims rushed into the river to take a holy dip.
29 people have lost their life in stampede at pushkar ghat. Please don’t rush to pushkar ghat, there are so many other ghats which are available with all the facilities. Please visit kotilingala ghat which is 1.5 km long.

ఈరోజు పుష్కరాలలో జరిగిన దుర్ఘటన నన్ను తీవ్రంగా కలచి వేసింది. గాయపడిన వారికి నా సానుభూతి తెలియ జేస్తున్నాను. చనిపోయిన వారి ఆత్మకు శాంతి కలగాలని ఆశిస్తూ..వారి కుటుంబాలకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతిని తెలియ జేస్తున్నాను. అక్కడకు వచ్చి వారిని ప్రత్యక్షంగా పరామర్శించి సహాయక చర్యలలో పాల్గొనాలని ఉన్నా..దానివల్ల మళ్ళీ తొక్కిసలాట జరిగి ప్రజలకు, ప్రభుత్వ సహాయక చర్యలకు ఇబ్బంది కలుగుతుందని భావించి రావటం విరమించుకున్నాను. సహాయక చర్యలకు తోడ్పాటు అందించ వలసినదిగా ‘జనసేన’ కార్య కర్తలకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నాను.
