Mithoon apparently has been working on the music and the background score of the film since a year.The title track will also feature voices of several other international artists. About the recording of the song, Mithoon informs a publication that once Ajay is back from Bulgaria, they will spend some time in the studio rehearsing the song before going for the final recording towards the end of the month.

After returning from Bulgaria Ajay will spend some time to recording it towards the end of the month.’Shivaay’ is slated to hit the silver screens on 28th October 2016.

31-year-old musician further said that the actor has provided him complete creative freedom to experiment with the music. He also added that Shivaay soundtrack has a contemporary feel to it. He said that he has not given such music in the last 10 years of his career.
