Akshay Kumar to Play Villain role:Arnold Schwarzenegger has opted out of “2.0” and Bollywood star actor Akshay Kumar has been roped in to replace him. He is reportedly playing the role of an antagonist.Amy Jackson, who worked with Shankar’s previous movie “I”, is playing the female lead role in the film. She is also playing the role of a villain in the multilingual project.

Shankar earlier approached Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the villain but when he couldn’t sign, Shankar wanted HrithikRoshan on board. As the star hero couldn’t allot dates, finally Akshay Kumar has been signed. Akshay will be making his Tamil film debut with this visual extravaganza.

Titled ‘Robot 2.0’, the film has AR Rahman composing music and Amy Jackson playing a sexy robot. Akshay’s inclusion as the villain is expected to make the project a viable one in North Indian circuit. Lyca Productions is producing it with over Rs 250 Crore budget.

t is said that Akshay will play an equally important role as the Thalaivaar. Since Rajinikanth and Akshay are collaborating for a flick for the very first time; the excitement level of the movie buffs has been raised. Amy Jackson is also a part of the project and is playing female lead role.

The shooting of the flick has started in Chennai on December 16. It is said that the makers of the film wanted to launch the production of the movie on a grand scale but due to the incessant rains of Chennai, the project kick-started in a subtle manner. The makers of the film have reportedly brought the best of the cast and crew on board from Hollywood and the budget of the flick is around Rs 400 crore. Indeed, the tremendous project is highly awaited.
