Online E-commerce site Amazon India has propelled what it calls the nation’s first Women-Only delievery station in Thiruvananthapuram.

The second such station will be set up in Chennai soon, trailed by a third in Kochi, as indicated by Samuel Thomas, Director, Transportation, Amazon India. Amazon India proposes to draw in with ladies, make interestingly important openings for work and empower them to be achievers, Thomas said.

There are plans to offer the ladies self-protection classes for their security amid work hours starting at 7 am and finishing at 5.30 pm. A dedicated helpline number will likewise be made for them to dial in for any support amid the day.
