APJ Abdul kalam Dead Body Reached Delhi in Palam Airport Live
Preparations underway to receive Our dear Kalam Sir’s remains :
The body of India’s ‘Missile Man’ and former President, APJ Abdul Kalam – who passed away in Shillong on Monday evening, has been brought from Guwahati to Delhi by an Indian Air Force flight.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar are present at the Palam airport to receive Kalam’s mortal remains. A tri-services Guard of Honour will be given to the great Indian scientist.
The IAF aircraft with Kalam’s body departed from Guwahati in the morning. The body will be taken to his residence at 10 Rajaji Marg, where people will be allowed to pay tribute to the former President from 4 pm onwards.
Last rites of Dr Kalam will be performed at his native place, Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday, on the request of his family.
