Apple iPhone 6S and Apple iPhone 6s Plus have battery indicator issues
Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users might face an issue with the battery percentage indicator might not get updated automatically. Apple commented that the battery charge indicator will actually indicate a higher percentage or remains at certain battery percentage when the actual percentage of the charge is lower. The issue, according to the Cupertino giant is software related and it has given a quick solution for the same as well.

Apple acknowledged the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus battery indicator issue
The problem came to lime light after many apple users started reporting that their iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models battery dries much quicker than what the battery indicator showed on the screen. While many customers assumed that it was a problem with the new iPhones battery. Apple has acknowledged the problem and posted on its website.
According to the Apple, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus battery percentage indicator might not update after a change in time zone. If a user changes the time on their phone manually or if there is an automatic update because of a shift in time zone during travel, the problem could come up.
Apple has provided a temporary fix for the issue:
Firstly restart your iPhone and go to Settings> General> Date and Time and make sure that it is automatically turned on.
It is wise to restart your iPhone once or twice when in a new time zone so that it automatically detects the correct time zone instead of manually selecting one and messing up the battery indicator. Still then, it is a bit amazing to learn how the two are connected. Also, Apple suggests that you also advices that contact a service center if the battery problem is not solved even after the restart.
