Australian Harassed in Bengaluru over Hindu Goddess Tattoo :-

Matt Keith and his friend Emily came to visit India from Melbourne, Australia. Now they are at bengaluru and on Saturday they went to restaurant, the crowd had seen a tattoo on Matt Keith shin an the tattoo is Hindu goddess Yellamma, crowed started  heckling the duo. At the same time ashok nagar police also came to the spot and asked about the incident and they were taken both Matt Keith and his girl friend Emily to ashok nagar police station and crowed also followed them and came to police station. Police and crowd alleged Matt Keith to write an apologizing letter.

Content In the Letter :-

The police asked to write a letter to sub-inspector of Ashok Nagar police station. The letter contains that  My name is Matt and I came to India with my girl friend Emily from Melbourne, Australia. I am very sorry for offending Hindu religious beliefs by my tattoo. I didn’t know of this auspicious custom in regard to tattoo placement. I will make sure to cover it up until I am in India. Thanking you for educating me on what is appropriate and also i am extremely sorry for using in appropriate language.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Sandeep Patil, said that both parties have reached a compromise and there is nothing serious about it.
