Best Team of 2015 ESPY award goes to US women’s soccer team

US Women’s soccer team won the award for bet 2015 team at the ESPYs on July 15.  An ESPY award (short for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) is an accolade presented by the American cable television network ESPN to recognize individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance during the calendar year preceding a given annual ceremony.

About ESPYs

ESPY Award winners were chosen only through voting by fans. Since 2004, sportswriters, broadcasters, sports executives, and sportspersons, collectively experts; or ESPN personalities also vote. Award winners have been selected thereafter exclusively through online fan balloting conducted from amongst candidates selected by the ESPY Select Nominating Committee.

Defeated the top teams like New England Patriots

The United States Women’s soccer team are over whelmed with the success and recognition of the US Women’s National Team for winning the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup! The women who were in full force at the ESPYs and are eligable to accept the award for “Best Team” on July 15! They defeated some of the top teams like New England Patriots and Chicago Blackhawks.

Hat Trick goals by captain against Japan made them to win the match

Captain Carli Lloyd (32), who led the ladies to a 5-2 victory over Japan, by scoring hat trick goals in the game along with Abby Wambach, Olympic gold medalist and member of the U S women’s soccer team, to accept the award. To Americans it’s the first World Cup victory since 1999. Amy said: “On behalf of whole team couldnt thank everyone who coudnt be here did it for america and fans we love u so much and im so happy that we have these girls to celebrate this with this has been best 10 days of our lives. Hopefully you can celebrate with us later tonight.
