Chiranjeev Marathi Movie Review & Story plot

Ramdas Menon’s Mumbai Cine International has announced its first Marathi film titled Chiranjeev. The film’s story is based in 1980s and shows fight between belief and superstition. The film’s shooting will start in a few days in Konkan’s Guhagar, Palshet and Hedvi areas.Chiranjeev will be directed by Ramesh More, who has erlier directed famous Marathi play Aamch Aakashach Vegla and Marathi films Mahasatta, Champion, and Shoor Aamhi Sardar. The film’s producer, Ramdas Menon, has previously produced TV shows and films in Malyalam.

Sanjeev Kumar in films like ‘Khilona’ and ‘Anhonee’ come to our mind. In ‘Anhonee’, behind his character of a lunatic, there was a wise person. In ‘Tere Naam’, we saw Salman Khan playing a lunatic character. In the past, it was Rajesh Khanna, whose portrayal of an absconding lunatic, became the talk of film lovers. In the recent past, Ashutosh Rana played one such psychic lunatic character in Marathi film ‘Yeda’. There are many examples of such characters played by many film artistes.

Chiranjeev will feature Bharat Jadhav, Bhargavi Chirmule, Alka Kubal, Kishor Kadam, Ravi Kale, Suhasini Deshpande and Sandhya Kamble. The film’s camerawork will be done by Sameer Athalye, editing by Kshitija Khandagale, make-up by Nityanand Vaishnav and art direction will done by Mahesh Dhamanaskar.
