Delhi  fears about Water Crisis : The Indian capital Delhi is in severe water crisis.The Delhi state usually depends on their near by state Haryana for water supply.But as there are JAT issues running the Haryana, the water supply was closed. So Delhi is in water crisis as there is no water supply to the state and Delhi schools to shut on Monday due to water crisis. Delhi city approached court to solve this issue.

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Aravind Kejriwal said, “we held an emergency meeting and decided that except for the President,Prime Minister,the Chief Justice of India,defense installations,fire brigade and hospitals,water in Delhi will be equally distributed among people. I too will be a part of these cuts.” The Chief Minister,declared holiday for all the schools in Delhi as there is water crisis in the state.

Delhi schools to shut on Monday due to water crisis

The Chief Minister and Education minister Manish Sisodia said, examinations scheduled for Monday will be postponed. “It is quite possible that people may wake up tomorrow to find no water in their taps. How will children go to school or appear for examinations? The government has asked all the schools run by the government, Municipal corporations and private schools to remain closed on Monday, said Sisodia.

However, the Government is taking quick steps to resolve this issue. Government is also sending water tanks for the basic water needs of the people.Even the Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal is following this water cuts. Kejriwal gives a call to all the people to consume possible less water.
