Geeta deaf-mute girl to be brought back to India from Pakistan
Geeta and deaf and dumb woman residing in Pakistan is expected to return to India on 26th October. She is going to arrive to India after a long duration of 10 years. On this travel Edhi Foundation charity is accompanying her to get back to India. She is having a long back story that she moved to Pakistan. DNA tests were confirmed that Geeta belongs to Indian family. Now she is about to return India on 26th October.
“Geeta will come back to India on October 26. She will be accompanied by five members of Edhi Foundation who will be treated as State guests,” Spokesperson in the External Affairs Ministry Vikas Swarup said.
As per sources represents, Geeta was recognized her father, step-mother and siblings photos that were sent by High Court of India which was located in Islamabad. Geeta’s family lives in Bihar. She left her house when she was in her 7th or 8th year.

Geeta will be handed over to their parents if the DNA test results positive
Geeta was reportedly simply seven or eight years recent once she was found sitting alone on the Samjhauta specific by the West Pakistan Rangers fifteen years past at the Lahore railroad terminal. Police took her to the Edhi Foundation in Lahore and later she was shifted to urban center. Indian diplomatist to West Pakistan, T C A Raghavan, and his married woman had visited Geeta in August when Swaraj directed him to fulfill her and check out to find her family. The government was getting to perform DNA testing to verify Geeta’s PARANTS. If the testing verifies known by her are her parents then she’s going to be handed over to them. On 26th October Geeta will be handed over to their parents by Edhi Foundation.
