Entrance Examinations for admission to Engineering Agricultural Medical Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges in the State for the year 2016.
Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical (KEAM) is an entrance examination series for admissions to various professional degree courses in the state of Kerala, India. It is conducted by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams run by the Government of Kerala. Kerala Govt recently started a programme for KEAM Coaching named as PEECS.
Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala has announced the Time table for Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical (KEAM) Examination 2016.
The CEE will conduct separate Entrance Examinations for admission to Engineering and Medical Courses. The CEE will not conduct any Entrance Examination for admission to B.Arch. course. However, candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. course should compulsorily appear and qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA).
Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Degree Courses 2016 will commence on April 25, 2016.

KEAM 2016 – Examination Details
Candidates who are looking for the admissions into Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical colleges for the academic year 2016-2017 can apply for the KEAM 2016 exam. CEE is going to held KEAM 2016 exam on 25th and 26th April 2016 for engineering stream, both Paper-1 and Paper-2 respectively.
Also, KEAM 2016 Medical exam is scheduled on 27th April 2016 (Paper-1) and 28th April 2016 (Paper-2). The examination is held from 10 AM to 12.30 PM. Candidates can download the schedule or time table from the official website or from the direct link provided below.

Eligibility for Admission:
I. Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian citizen. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will be treated on par with Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission. However, PIO/OCI candidates will not be eligible for any kind of reservation Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examinations. Applicants of Kerala origin will be categorized as ‘Keralites’. Others will be categorized as ‘Non-Keralites’. Non-Keralites are classified as ‘Non-Keralite Category-I’ and ‘Non-Keralite Category II’.
(A)Keralite: A candidate of Kerala Origin will be categorized as ‘Keralite’. Children of All India Service (AIS) Officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to Kerala Cadre are deemed to be ‘Keralites’ as per G.O.(Rt.)No.822/08/H.Edn. dated 29.05.2008. But they will not be eligible for communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession. In order to prove that a candidate is an Indian Citizen of Kerala origin for the limited purpose of eligibility for admission, he/she has to produce a certificate showing that the candidate or his/her father or mother was born in Kerala.
(B)Non-Keralite Category-I (NK-I):– A candidate who is not of Kerala origin but fulfils anyone of the following conditions will be categorised as ‘Non-Keralite Category I'(NK I).
(i) A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of NonKeralite parents belong to Government of India/Defence Service, posted to Kerala.
(ii) A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of NonKeralite parents who are serving/served Government of Kerala for a minimum period of two years.
(iii)A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but has been a resident of Kerala State for a period of 5(five) years within the period of 12(twelve) years of his/her study.
(iv)A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but who has undergone his/her school studies in Kerala from standard VIII to XII. Non-Keralite Category I candidates will be considered against ‘State Merit’ seats for Engineering/Architecture/Medical & Allied courses and will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.
(C) Non-Keralite Category-II (NK-II):- Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or ‘NonKeralite Category-I’ will be treated as ‘Non-Keralite Category-II’. They are eligible for admission to the Management Quota seats in Self-financing Engineering institutions under 2 Government control. Non-Keralite Category-II candidates are eligible for admission to Government Seats and Management Quota Seats in Private Self Financing Engineering/Architecture Colleges. But they will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.
