Reliance LYF, the Indian smartphone manufacturing company has rolled out a new smartphone into the Indian smartphone market namely Reliance Lyf Earth 2 at an expensive range of Rs. 19,999. Reliance LYF is a domestic smartphone manufacturing firm which has its main headquarters in Mumbai, India. Originally, the company had launched two low-cost and budget range smartphones called Lyf Flame 1 and Lyf Flame 2 at a price range of just Rs. 6,000. Now, the company had launched an expensive smartphone into the market.
Now, the firm has rolled out the most expensive high-end 4G smartphone in the line-up of Earth series called the Lyf Earth 2 with price tag of Rs. 19, 999. Earlier this year, the company has made the debut of LYF brand of smartphones into the market alongside a new website Jio. However, the handset scarcely has anything that is worth of its price tag.
LYF Earth 2 Launched at a Steep ₹19,999
The new Reliance LYF Earth 2 smartphone comes with two remarkable features among which one feature is the Iris retina scanner thatlets the user unlock the phone just by using their eyes. The other essential and significant feature is the 13 MP front snapper that features auto-focus and flash price range.
This new LYF Earth 2 smartphone doesn’t come with high-end specifications and features instead it simply has a lower end specs that has only bumped up RAM and the front camera. There is nothing new offered by the LYF Earth 2 smartphone. There are several handsets that are available in the smartphone market with these normal features for just Rs. 10 to 12,000.
The battery life offered by the smartphone is quite unsatisfactory as it just offers 2500 mAh battery. Besides that, the battery will not last even for a day for a common smartphone user. Coming to the software of the device the smartphone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and it is yet to be cleared that whether the plans of the company to provide frequent software updates will be implemented or not.
