MS Dhoni Wants to work with The Indian Army
Cricket player MS Dhoni’s recently retired from Tests during India’s tour to Australia in December 2014 and he love for the armed forces is well known and he wants to utilise the time ahead of the next ODI series against South Africa in November at home to work closely with the Indian Army.
It has been learnt that his plan is to work with the armed forces before he gets back on the field. It is understood that he will help create awareness among people, or go and visit soldiers posted on the border.
Dhoni was conferred with the rank of honorary lieutenant colonel in the elite Parachute Regiment by the Territorial Army in November 2011. He had stated then that he wanted to serve the Army after retirement but did not want his cricket to suffer.
