Ramya Krishna in Krishna Vamsi’s Rudraksha Movie:The Appavum Veenjum actress will be collaborating with her husband after 15 years for a film titled ‘Rudraksha’. Reports suggest that the film will feature Samantha in the lead role. A source close to the film’s unit revealed, “Ramya and her husband have joined hands after 15 years. She plays one of the leads in the film”.Speculations are rife that the flick will be much like 1995 film ‘Ammoru’. Another set of rumours suggest that it will be much like ‘Arundhati’. The unit of the film shared that the film will be a horror-fantasy film. Reportedly, the project will be the most expensive project of Krishna Vamsi’s career. Dil Raju is going to bankroll the venture.

The film also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu.“Ramya and her husband have joined hands after 15 years. She plays one of the leads in the film,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.Ramya and Krishna Vamsi had previously worked together in the latter’s 1998 film “Chandralekha”, starring Akkineni Nagarjuna.The film was originally rumoured to feature Anushka Shetty in the lead.
“As of now, Samantha and Ramya are on board. The makers did approach Anushka for one of the main leads; however things didn’t fall in place. The film also features four male newcomers,” the source added.To be bankrolled by Dil Raju, “Rudraksha” is tipped to be the most expensive film in Krishna Vamsi’s career.
“It’s going to be made on a lavish budget. The film features nearly an hour of visual effects (VFX) and the makers are currently in talks with several VFX studios,” the source said.The project is most likely to go on the floors in May or June.The film will be produced by Dil Raju. As per sources, Rudraksha is also said to be the most expensive film in Krishna Vamsi’s career.

Creative director Krishna Vamsi has given successful films like Gulabi, Ninne Pelladtha, Anthapuram, Murari, Khadgam, Chandamama among others. Ramya Krishna was last seen in the film Soggade Chinni Nayana. She was also seen playing an important role in the super hit film Baahubali.
