Rana Upcoming Movie Ghazi Shooting Started:Actor Rana Daggubati has begun shooting for Hindi-Telugu bilingual Ghazi , India’s first submarine-based war filmat Hyderabad. “Pushing my experimental envelope towards mainstream cinema yet again!! #GHAZI (Hindi-Telugu bilingual) begins filming today (sic),” Rana posted on Twitter. The film is based on the true incidents concerning the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi , a Pakistan submarine during the Indo-Pak 1971 war. The story is about an executive naval officer of the Indian submarine S21 and his team, who remain underwater for 18 days.

The film directed by debutant Sankalp, is said to be based on the real incident of the PNS Ghazi submarine which sunk mysteriously during the 1971 war with Pakistan.

Rana tweeted to inform that he began shooting for this film, a Hindi-Telugu bilingual. “Pushing my experimental envelope towards mainstream cinema yet again!! #GHAZI (Hindi-Telugu bi-lingual) begins filming today (sic),” Rana tweeted.

Taapsee Pannu is paired with Rana in this film and she is playing the role of a refugee, it is heard. Rana is playing a Navy commando on board of the submarine.
