Reliance Jio to start free 4G Service for Employees Launches by Sharkh Khan and AR Rahaman

Reliance telecom company palns Reliance Jio’s 4G, after some delays in 2015 year, could be officially launched on 27th December, 2015 in its annual ‘founder’s day’ celebration at Reliance Corporate Park.

Reliance Company sent the invitation to the 2000 employees through mails to a ‘Founders celebration’ on 27th December, 2015. Actor Shah Rukh Khan will host the event and A R Rahman will give a performance. The event will be behalf of founder Dhirubhai Ambani’s 83rd birthday on 28th December and will be live telecast through a Jio telecom beam across 1,000 locations.

Reliance Jio telecom company will start its 4G service on 27th December but only for Reliance employees, indicating a further delay in the commercial launch and giving competitors Airtel, Idea and Vodafone more time to start up their own high-speed broadband services.

Sharkh Khan to Host Reliance 4G Launch Event

Reliance Jio holds the highest amount of liberalized spectrum among all telecom operators which can be used for establish any technology for mobile services. Reliance has a total of 751.1 MHz spectrum across 1800 MHz and 2300 MHz bands.

According to trials by brokerage company Credit Suisse, download speed of Reliance Jio 4G network during its beta test phase higher at 70 MB per second but remained in 15 to 30 MB per second range on most times.

The Reliance Company also is giving a 25 per cent discount on its LYF smart phones, which are VoLTE and voice over Wi-Fi enabled to their employees.

Reliance Jio will release four LYF brand models later in December month in the ‘Earth’, ‘Wind’, ‘Water’, and ‘Fire’ series. The Earth model estimated price will be Rs. 23,000 ($344), and Reliance employees can purchase it for Rs. 17,000.
