Rudramadevi is upcoming telugu film, starting anuskha as ruramadevi and allu arjun as gona gannareddy. also baahubali bhallaldeva raana and rebel start krishnam raju plays an key role in the film. after baahubali this is the biggest movie in telugu film industry. director guna sekhar is producer that who sold out all his properties for movie and planning to launch a big movie and first historical 3D Movie in india. he taken a very good desicion. also allu arjun not take any remunaration.

Director Gunasekhar readied a script based on the life of Rani Rudramadevi. Anushka, Nayanthara and Priyanka Chopra were considered for the title role but Anushka was signed based on her performance in Arundhati. Gunasekhar roped in Ilaiyaraja to compose the music and Thotta Tharani for art direction. The film is made on a budget of ?60 crore (US$9.4 million). Mahesh Babu and Jr. NTR were first approached for the role of Gona Ganna Reddy, but neither of them were signed for the film. Later Allu Arjun was eventually selected to do the role.
