This is a written examination containing objective multiple choice questions. The difficulty level of Paper I is of class 10th level, questions asked in Paper II are of class 12th level, Paper III questions are of graduation level. The answer key of SSC CGL 2015 Tier II exam released immediately after the test shall be unofficially published by coaching centers. Official SSC CGL Answer Key 2015 Tier II is to be published by the Staff Selection Commission around a week or two after the exam. Paper I and II are compulsory for all posts, whereas Paper III is only for such candidates who have applied for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II and Compiler.

Around 1,44,871 candidates were declared as qualified to appear in the second stage of CGL exam. Once the exam is held at all the centers on 25 October 2015, question papers will be solved by expert faculty. The examination is being held on two days, 25 and 26 October 2015. Whereas all the 1,44,871 candidates who have qualified in the first level must appear in Paper 1 and Paper 2, the 22,202 candidates who have to appear for Paper 3 are those who have opted for Statistical Investigator/Compiler.
