Sunny Leon is ‘Most Googled Indian in 2015’

Sunny, 34 years, was the Most Googled Indian in 2015 leaving Slaman Khan, Sharukh Khan and other personalities behind. A number of reasons made the Bollywood sexist beauty topped this year too. She was named in an obscenity case registered by a Mumbai housewife; a Left leader linked a condom ad featuring her to increase in rapes; she featured in the movies Ek Paheli Leela and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai; her next movie Mastizaade had problem getting past the Film Censor Board.

Salman Khan has had a very eventful year 2015, with being convicted and then acquitted in the hit and run case and featuring in two blockbusters that are Prem Rathan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Even though, he doesn’t top the list of most searched Indians that Google has released report as they do at the end of each year that award belongs to actress Sunny Leone in the second year in a row.

Sunny Leon is the awarded “Most Googled Indian” second time

Salman Khan was at second place up one place from last year on the list of top 10 Most Googled Indians. Salman Khan and Sunny Leon and also top the lists for Most Searched Bollywood actor and actress. This year is actors Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone are at four and five, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt at six and nine, respectively. Sharukh is up from the eighth spot on 2014 list and Alia is down from number six.

While, PM Narendra Modi down to tenth on the list, he was second on last year list. Former president Late APJ Abdul Kalam is at third place.
