Telangana Govt to spend 25,000cr for welfare of villages
A massive amount is going to spend by Telangana government for a new program. The TS government with in next 5 years decided to spend a total of 25,000 crores of money for the welfare of village-level development in the state. The Telangana government intention is to boost up the village level development equally with the Hyderabad city.
The project, “Gram Jyothi”, will be launched on August 15 of this year. The Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao has been decided to go through the complete program schedule, an official release issued by CM KCR said on Sunday.

The 25000 crore program, will be launched on Independence day, it would empower the Panchayats to design and execute various development schemes for villages under them. The amount will be allotted based on the population resided on each village. The government will allot the money for funding development works.
All the ministers of Finance, Roads and Buildings, Agriculture, Irrigation and Forest will be the members of the Cabinet Sub-committee members. Other officials will also include in this mega rural development project said KCR.
