Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Saturday, TNSF Telangana State president Ch Madhusudan Reddy has alleged that the State government was behaving like a buffalo, which doesn’t respond even if rain falls on it. Even though the students and unemployed youths were staging agitation for fulfillment of their problems, the government remained calm.
TNSF leaders released a wall poster of bandh proposed to be observed on July 15 demanding that the State government provide free education from KG to PG, bring new law to control fees in private educational institutions, implement Right to Education Act, implement fees reimbursement scheme to all eligible students, provide minimum facilities in government educational institutions and fill vacant posts, resolve the problems of the welfare hostels students, cleanse the inter board, which was supporting corporate colleges, release scholarship arrears immediately to the students and speed up engineering counseling immediately.
TNSF has warned that it will intensify the agitation youth organizations against the State government in case the Chief Minister failed to respond on the demands. TNSF also asked the student unions, caste organizations, intellectuals, educationalists, managements and parents to participate in a big number in its proposed bandh.
TNSF State general secretary Sagarapu Prasad, vice-presidents Prasad, Srikanth Reddy and Sharath Chandra, Sumanth, Shiva Kumar, Ramakrishna, Naveen, Ramulu, Shanthan Reddy, Raju and others participated.
