Thanga Magan Tamil Movie Review: Thanga Magan is yet another family-oriented drama with enough commercial elements like action, comedy, punch dialogues and romance to lure all kinds of audiences into theatres, something that Velaiyilla Pattathari  managed to do. Also, it shouldn’t come across as a surprise if the film showcases the difference between love, before and after marriage, from a man’s point of view. However, Thanga Magan’s trailer is definitely not one of the best Tamil cinema has produced in recent times. With mediocre cuts, cliched elements, ordinary dialogues and bad make-up, the trailer is disappointing to say the least.

Thanga Magan Movie Review &  Story : Critics Rating

The trailer was released yesterday evening by the makers and it got nice response from audience. The trailer was 2 minutes and 54 seconds long and Dhanush and Amy Jackson impressed a lot. Especially Dhanush dialogues are rocking. The trailer opens with usual Dhanush mode. We have seen the same Dhanush in ‘n’ number of movies. A school going guy who chases a girl. A stupid friend as his side kick. Girl falls for him. Lovable parents. The trailer switches to ‘Yawn’ mode within first few minutes. The ‘Adiyae’ background was perfect.

Later Dhanush goes through a transformation phase and he becomes a responsible husband. Samantha is seen as a home maker. Samantha never fits shoes of a home maker. It looked like eating Pizza with Chutney. The trailer finally ends with a lengthy dialogue and saying ‘Tamil will always win’. But the irony is when that dialogue was uttered, the director’s name is shown in English. The trailer itself needs patience.
