Telangana Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGCET) Osmania University conducts the Exam for admissions to the M.Tech programmes in the state of Telangana. The postgraduate programs offered in the TS PGECET exam associated university are M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, M.Arch.

TS PGCET 2016 Application Form
Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has invited an application form of TS PGECET 2016 for the academic year 2016-2017 and the commencing date of the exam will be from second week of March, 2016 and the forms are available till the last week of April, 2016. If the candidates want to apply after the last date of online submission of the fee, then the candidate need to pay some extra fee along with the application fee as the penalty for the payment after due date. GATE/GPAT candidates are not required to apply for TS PGECET entrance test as they are selected on the basis of their qualified score in GATE/GPAT. No offline facility is providing for filling the application form.

The fee details are finalised differently for the candidates on the basis of their category
Reserved Category Candidates (SC/ST) – Rs. 250/-.
Unreserved Category Candidates (GEN/OBC) – Rs 500/-.
Process for applying PGCET:
TS PGECET 2016 – Applications are online but candidates need to pay the application fees before filling the application form. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference and are exempt from the entrance exam. Steps to fill the application form:
First Candidates are advised to visit the official portal of TS PGECET 2016 and then click on the application form and Pay the registration fee. Then fill the application form with required candidate details & upload photo, signature in prescribed format and size. Candidate need to take the print out after duly filled application for future use. No need to send hard copy of PGECET 2016 Application form to any examination authority. Before the submission of the form, click on ‘agree’ button that shows that whatever is declared in the form by you is correct and you ensures the guarantee of it. After click on submit button, preview of the filled application form will be shown to you and a registration ID from the conducting authority is displayed to you. Must retain that registration ID for future usage (required at the time of admit card) now you can click on Confirm button. You get the confirmation SMS from the TS PGECET conducting authority after the submission of the form successfully. Copy of the filled application form has been sent to your mail id by the entrance exam conducting authority.
Exam Pattern and time duration:
There are total 120 multiple type questions from the subject you are applying for. The timing of the test will be 2 hours, and the test will be conducted in 2 sessions of forenoon and afternoon. Forenoon timing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and the afternoon timing will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The students are applicable to take more than one test but the condition is that separate fee will be charged for each entrance exam. This year the exam is conducted through online. The entrance test conducted in English language only.
Exam schedule for TS PGECET 2016:
TS PGECET 2016 Online Exam dates: 30 – May – 2016 to 03 – May -2016. Notification of PGCET 11 March 2016. Online application starts from 14 March 2016
Last date of submission for online application is 15 April 2016
Hall ticket download starts from 15 May 2016 Qualifying Marks are minimum 25% in entrance test. Selection of the candidate will be based on performance in the Entrance test.
