TTD to Build Grand Balaji Temple in Hyderabad

The Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanams (TTD) has decided to construct a grand temple dedicated to Lord Sri Venkateshwara in Hyderabad. The Temple construction will be on 3.5 acres of land which belongs to TTD on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills. Hyderabd is the common state capital of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. The TTD trust board has decided to build Sri Maha Ganapati temple also which will be adjacent to the proposed Sri Balaji Temple. Already TTD runs a Balaji Bhavan which is at Himayatnagar in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad is going to have a Grand Balaji Temple

The board chairman Krishna Murthy has preceded the meeting. The TTD is going to spend Rs 13.89 crores on the proposed Balaji Temple. According to the TTD sources the construction of temple is going to begin soon in Hyderabad. The world’s richest Hindu donation body plans to make the proposed temple with a magnificent structure and with excess of facilities for the devotees.

The land that belongs to TTD in Banjara hills is lying unutilized for several years. According to the reports the board also decides to allocate the seven acres of land to Aravind Eye Care of Madurai for the construction of a stylish eye hospital in Tirupathi. The worth of Rs 100 crores will be provided to the needs of people including the devotees. The construction of the temple is going to begin soon in Hyderabad. TTD will be spending Rs 13.89 crores on the temple and a sub-committee has been formed for the review of laddu prasadam, room rentals and the fee for various arjita sevas. The panel is going to submit the entire reports in the next meeting of the board.
