“In terms of the number of candidates and number of centres or sub-centres, this was the biggest examination ever conducted by the Commission,” the official said. The result qualifies candidates for the Personality Test for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).

They want to release 2014 civils examination results was planned to released by union public service commission (UPPSC) for the first time after the end of examinations. Every year UPPSC conduct civils examination using three-tier system. In the last year aug-24 they conducted civils examinations in 2,137 centres where 9.45 lakh people applied for preliminary examination, but 4.51 lakh people attend that examination. 16,933 people selected for Mains.
So in that selected people 16,286 people was written mains examination that conducted in December. 3,308 people selected for oral examinations, 3,303 people was attended oral examination that conducted from april 27 to june 30.
so they want to release final list of candidates for 1,364 posts.
About Personality Test:
The Personality Test for these candidates is likely to commence from April 27. Personality Tests will be held in the office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. UPSC will upload the detailed program for the Personality Test on the official website http://www.upsc.gov.in
The first batch of e-Summon letter will be made available on the UPSC’s website http://www.upsc.gov.in latest by April 18. The second and third batches of the e-summon letters would be uploaded subsequently.
