As we Know Nadigar Sangam Elections are being held today at Chennai For Competing war between Actor sarath Kumar and Vishal For President Post of South Indian Film Artistes’ Association (SIFAA).

1: 05 pm: Actor Vishal says he will reveal who attacked him after 5 p.m. “Elections should continue,” he says.

12: 55 pm: Actor Goundamani was asked if he preferred Tamil Nadu Nadigar Sangam or Indian Nadigar Sangam, he said: “Nadigar Sangam nu irundha podhum.” (Just Nadigar Sangam is enough.)

12: 45 pm: Vishal is now being treated by a doctor inside the caravan.

12: 40 pm: Crowd gathers outside Vishal’s caravan. Nadigar Sangam members are calling for the arrest of those who attacked him.

Suddenly there has been a slew of ugly scenes at the ‎Nadigar Sangam Elections‬, which was till now being held in a peaceful, secure manner.
Vishal‬ has apparently been attacked at the venue, his left hand has been injured and he is being given treatment inside a special caravan. Prior to this, actress Sangeetha was reportedly manhandled by a mob at the venue and when Vishal came forward to intervene in this, he was attacked, it seems.
There has also been some hassle at the venue as a proxy vote was cast for actor Mohan, who had reached the venue to vote.
But we also hear that police has cleared the venue of all those who were standing outside with agents and candidates and that the voting has resumed. Both groups are co-operating to make sure that the voting process isn’t affected again.
