Grater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections will be conducted on 02nd Feb, 2016. GHMC elections has turned hottest topic in political as well as in the city among the public in the state since Andhra Pradesh people population plays a decent role in the Elections. While all the parties such as TRS, Congress, TDP-BJP alliance and AIMIM parties are in full swing in elections campaigns.

GHMC is divided into 150 Wards and elections are conducted all the wards in the city. GHMC is divided into 18 circles and 5 zones as East, North, West, South and Central. NTV conducted GHMC Exit Polls Survey in all the GHMC zones.

As expected by many political experts, the Exit poll survey shows that the Telangana ruling party TRS has won majority seats in GHMC Exit polls. As per the exit polls TRS has very strong in West zone with 81 percentage and MIM is very in South zone.

GHMC has reservation basis. 44 wards are reserved for the woman, 44 wards for the General, 50 wards for BC, 10 wards for SC and 2 wards for ST.
